Often wooden letterpress letters can get worn down after years and years of use. Our letters come crisp out of the machine, and you will literally be the first person to use the type! Bookbinding

Most Bookbinders use individual letters and numbers which you have to stamp on individually - whether blind or with foil. This can be a pain, as well as incredibly time-consuming as you have to make sure every letter is straight, in line, and spaced evenly. Additionally, small bookbinders usually only have a few fonts on hand, while we have a huge selection! Hot Stamping

Almost all hot stampers work with the type hanging down towards whatever you are stamping.  If a letter drops out in the process, you are in trouble, as you would have to try to line it up perfectly again.  The Ludlow type which we provide comes as a solid slug, no individual letters.  No painstaking set up, only to have to break it down and set it up all again next time you use it.  Our type can be stored whole, and re-used quickly.  Plus it lasts for years!  Start building your collection of key words and phrases today!  Ie. “Holy Bible, of, and to, the” and full sets of letters in any of our fonts, not to mention punctuation!
